The Associate Quality Assurance RN is a key clinic leadership member responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care and overseeing clinic workflow in an ambulatory care setting. This role ensures adherence to regulations and delivers patient-centered, evidence-based care while coordinating with management to optimize clinic operations. The position requires an RN license, nursing degree, clinical leadership experience, and focuses on quality improvement and staff education.
Description
Integral member of the clinic leadership team. Provides professional, comprehensive nursing care for patients in an ambulatory care environment. Responsible for the workflow of the clinic under the direction of the PMG management team. Determines clinic priorities with regard to patient care, patient flow, staffing and distribution of resources. Responsible for ensuring adherence to standards and regulations. Accountable for the delivery of coordinated, safe, compassionate, therapeutic, evidence-based quality care to patients and families, based on individual physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, and appropriate care strategies throughout the lifespan. Practices in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act in the state of employment, the American Nurses Association (ANA) Code of Ethics for Nurses, and the ANA scope and standards of practice. Collaborates and coordinates with PMG leadership to maintain effective and efficient clinic operations. Key functions and specific skills for the job are found in the ambulatory specific standards that are applicable to the clinic and specialty.
