The Cardiovascular Technologist assists physicians in performing invasive and interventional cardiovascular procedures in a catheterization lab setting using advanced medical equipment. This role requires experience in cardiovascular and interventional radiological procedures, adherence to hospital policies, and certification in ACLS and BLS. Hours: Full Time (40 hours a week) Day Shift
Assists cardiovascular Physicians in performing and completing invasive, interventional and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures in Labs using a variety of complicated/advanced equipment, monitors, devices, and supplies. Knowledgeable in Vascular, Cardiac, and Pediatric Procedural practice, Neuro interventional procedures, as well as emergent techniques/protocol. Assists in Quality Control checks/Quality Improvement Program. Performs all duties in a manner which promotes "team" concept and reflects the Sisters of Providence mission and philosophy. Able to observe hospital and departmental policies on confidentiality. CVS patients served range from neonates to senior citizens.
