The Occupational Therapist at Providence Seward Medical Center assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates occupational therapy services primarily for outpatient long-term care and some acute care patients. They collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with professional standards and regulations, providing care to diverse patient populations including inpatients, outpatients, and home health clients. This role supports patient-focused, whole-person rehabilitation to improve patients' functional abilities and quality of life in a critical access hospital setting.
Description
Assesses, plans implements, and evaluates occupational therapy services within the guidelines established by the American Occupational Therapy Association. Provides services to inpatients, outpatients, Home Health clients, long term care residents. Collaborates with other team members to plan and provide important aspects of care, in compliance with medical center standards and guidelines established by the American Occupational Therapists Association in conjunction with regulatory requirements of both federal and state agencies.

We are hiring for Occupational Therapist positions at Providence Seward Medical Center, a critical access hospital in Seward, AK!
The position will be responsible for mostly outpatient long term care (about 80% of the time) and swing bed acute care (about 20% of the time).
Currently available schedules: full time, 1.0 FTE, Day shift, 40 hours per week.
