Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist to join a high-acuity cardiovascular team in Flagstaff, AZ. This role supports diagnostic and interventional procedures in a dynamic teaching hospital environment. Candidates must be clinically proficient, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures, including EP and structural heart cases
- Operate imaging and monitoring equipment including MacLab and Xper systems
- Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety throughout procedures
- Float to outpatient cath lab as needed
- Participate in on-call rotation: 18 days of call over an 8-week period
- Document procedures using Cerner EMR
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience
- ARRT certification required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- State licensure required
- First-time travelers accepted
Preferred Skills
- Electrophysiology (EP)
- Structural Heart procedures
- Experience with MacLab and Xper systems
- Familiarity with Cerner charting
Additional Details
- Weekend coverage required as needed
- Blocked scheduling considered by unit manager
- RTO must be approved prior to contract start
- Scrubs provided by facility

- Facility may call off up to 6 shifts during the 13-week assignment
