MRI Technologist – Travel Assignment

Location: Pittsfield, MA

Start Date: November 24, 2025

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Position Type: Contract

A nationally recognized 298-bed teaching hospital is seeking a qualified MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. This role offers the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art imaging department within a facility consistently rated among the safest hospitals in the country.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0 MRI systems
• Manage approximately 9 patients per shift
• Collaborate with a Tech Aide or fellow MRI Technologist; solo shifts are not permitted
• Participate in on-call coverage after midnight
• Adhere to strict scheduling protocols; block scheduling and 10/12-hour shifts are not accepted

Holiday Coverage Requirement: Travelers must commit to working two of the following holiday periods:

• Thanksgiving and the following weekend
• Christmas Eve/Day and the following weekend
• New Year’s Eve/Day and the following weekend

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of current MRI experience
• ARRT (MR) certification required
• Experience with GE MRI equipment required
• Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• Must be willing to work weekends, evenings, and take call as needed
• Must have reliable transportation
