Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.

· Trauma credentials (TNCC, CATN, TNCC, TCAR)

· Post-op cardiac surgery experience

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

· Rapid sequence intubation, CABG and valve replacements, Thrombectomies, EVD insertions, SLED/TABLO, MTP, Cardioversion, IABP/Impella, TNK administration, vasopressors, IV sedation

·Number of Staff – 60

·Type of staff:

o Day Shift – 1 charge, RNs depending on census (1:2 ratio) sometimes (1:1 ratio), PCT is as needed

o Night Shift - 1 charge, RNs depending on census (1:2 ratio) sometimes (1:1 ratio), PCT is as needed

·Patient Ratios – 1:2, sometimes 1:1

·Type of equipment – IABP, Impella, Ventiator, Arterial Line, Swan-Ganz catheters, SLED/TABLO machines, Belmont rapid infuser, traction, EVD, nitric oxide, Hemisphere

·EMR – Meditech
