Compunnel Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Washington, District of Columbia.
Assess and monitor patients’ vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and clinical status continuously.
48 bed cardiac tele unit- 4 bed pulmonary care beds and 10 cardiac surgery beds.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including IV therapies, telemetry monitoring, oxygen therapy, and other complex interventions.
Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition, escalating concerns to physicians or advanced practice providers.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment, medication management, and discharge instructions.
NIHSS, BLS & ACLS
Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state/district
Cardiac Tele Experience - Required: 2 Years
Cerner experience required
