Position: Travel Pharmacist – Central Pharmacy
Facility Overview:
- Beds: 815
- Staff: ~150 pharmacy staff
- Day Shift: 34 pharmacists
- Night Shift: 3 pharmacists
- EMR: Cerner, Vigilanz
- Equipment: Talyst Machine, Pyxis, LAFW, CAI
- Scrub Color: Forest green top and bottom or black bottom; business casual also allowed
- Parking: $20 one-time fee for nights/weekends
Required Qualifications:
- License: Active RPh license in North Carolina
- Experience:
- Hospital pharmacy experience
- Oversight of technician staff
- Certifications: ACLS preferred (required if working in ED)
Preferred Experience:
- Emergency Department
- Cerner and Vigilanz systems
- Third shift experience
- Strong multitasking and adaptability in high-stress environments
Responsibilities:
- Order verification
- Product checking and distribution
- Clinical documentation
- Answering clinical questions from nurses and providers
- Supporting technician staff
