Job Description:
We’re seeking an experienced Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Sonographer to join the team. This role focuses on performing high-risk obstetric ultrasound examinations and supporting physicians in advanced imaging and diagnostic procedures.
You’ll work in a collaborative, fast-paced maternal-fetal environment using cutting-edge imaging technology to provide critical insights for high-risk pregnancies.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform high-risk ultrasound exams for obstetric patients in all trimesters.
- Conduct first-trimester dating and early anatomic assessments.
- Perform second and third trimester detailed anatomic exams, fetal echocardiography, growth assessments, and Doppler studies.
- Assist physicians with diagnostic imaging and biopsy procedures as needed.
- Complete and forward exam charges and image documentation promptly for radiologist review.
- Ensure adherence to AIUM (American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine) imaging standards.
- Provide imaging for a variety of patient populations, including newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric.
Requirements:
- Minimum Experience: 2 years (High-Risk OB/MFM required)
- Epic EMR proficiency (recent experience required)
- Must reside within a 100-mile radius of the facility
- No blocked scheduling requests or excessive RTO (max 5 days allowed)
Certifications:
✅Required:
- ARDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer)
- AHA BLS (Basic Life Support)
⭐Preferred:
- Nuchal Translucency (NT) Certification
Education:
🎓Required:
- Associate’s degree in Ultrasound Technology or Graduate of an Accredited Sonography Program
🎓Preferred:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Ultrasound Technology
