The Ultrasound Technologist at Providence Valdez Medical Center performs and evaluates sonographic examinations, obtaining clinical history and physical assessments to determine appropriate testing protocols. This role provides technical interpretation of sonographic and physiologic data to aid physicians in medical diagnosis. The position is per diem, located onsite, requiring certification and training in diagnostic sonography, with a focus on patient-centered care.
Description
Performs all the essential functions of the Registered Sonographer. Performs and evaluates sonographic examinations. Obtains clinical history and performs a physical assessment of the patient's condition to determine appropriate testing protocol. Provides a technical interpretation of sonographic and physiologic data to aid physicians in rendering a medical diagnosis.
